As Kabul gets set for the coronation of the new Taliban govt, women have hit the streets in Kabul demanding the right to work and education.
The Taliban have banned many women from working outside their homes and girls from attending schools and universities.
On Thursday, similar protests were held in the city of Herat.
The Taliban, who seized power last month after a lightning military campaign, are in discussions about the formation of a new, "inclusive" government. They have promised a softer brand of rule, pledging that women will be allowed to work but within the limits of Sharia law.
