Watch: 'Won't reciprocate,' says Canada minister after 41 diplomats leave India

Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly accused New Delhi of violating the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations after 41 of its diplomats were forced to leave India. Joly said India's decision to threaten to strip diplomatic immunities was "unreasonable" and escalated bilateral tensions between the two countries. 

"If we allow the norm of diplomatic immunity to be broken, no diplomats anywhere on the planet would be safe. So for this reason, we will not reciprocate," she added.
