At the India Today Conclave South, Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai, TRS leader Suresh Reddy, CPI(M) MP John Brittas and Congress's Manickam Tagore had a fiery debate on 'Target 2024: Who will win the South?'. While Annamalai said the 2024 election will be a breakout for the BJP, especially in southern states due to the PM Modi factor, opposition leaders countered his claim by saying that only development works in the south.
John Brittas launched an all-out attack on the BJP saying that it is creating Hindutva laboratories in each state.
