IIT experts clear CBSE's internal portal as Board drops Coempt EduTeck
CBSE has removed COEMPT Eduteck Pvt Ltd from the ongoing Class 12 re-evaluation process. The board says the exercise will continue on schedule as students await any revised records.

CBSE has decided not to use COEMPT Eduteck Pvt Ltd for the ongoing re-evaluation process of Class 12 board examination answer sheets.
The development was confirmed on Monday when a member of the IIT panel associated with the process told ANI that CBSE had chosen to discontinue the services of the company for the re-evaluation exercise.
According to CBSE's latest update, COEMPT Eduteck, which was involved in the scanning of answer sheets during the evaluation process, will no longer be part of the re-evaluation work. The board has not yet publicly detailed the reasons behind the decision.
The move comes amid the ongoing post-result activities being conducted by CBSE after the declaration of the 2026 board examination results. Over 1.6 lakh students had applied for verification of marks and re-evaluation of over 3.8 lakh answer sheets after the results were announced.
The re-evaluation portal was opened in the morning of June 3, allowing students to submit requests for obtaining scanned copies of their evaluated answer books and seek further review of marks. The application window remained active for several days and officially closed on June 7.
CBSE CLARIFIES PORTAL FUNCTIONING AMID CONCERNS
CBSE said the application window for verification and re-evaluation remained fully operational from June 2 to June 7 under the supervision of government technical agencies and teams from IITs.
During this period, more than 1.6 lakh students successfully submitted requests covering over 3.8 lakh answer books.
The board said the system was continuously monitored by cyber security teams to prevent malicious traffic and cyber threats, while dedicated CBSE teams provided assistance through helpdesks and grievance redressal channels.
Addressing concerns raised on social media and in some media reports, CBSE clarified that the message "Roll Number Not Found" appeared only for candidates who had not successfully applied during the first phase for obtaining scanned copies of answer books.
CBSE had introduced a structured process through which students could first obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets before applying for verification or re-evaluation.
No changes have been announced regarding the timelines for processing applications or declaring re-evaluation results.
Students and parents are advised to keep checking the official CBSE website for further updates related to re-evaluation requests and result revisions.
The board is expected to complete the scrutiny and re-evaluation process in the coming weeks, following which any changes in marks, if applicable, will be reflected in the students' final records.
