Are Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran getting married? Here's what we know

Fresh rumours surrounding Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran have once again surfaced online, with reports claiming that the composer and the Sunrisers Hyderabad co-owner could reportedly get married soon. Speculation has suggested that the wedding may take place later this year outside India, although neither Anirudh nor Kavya has officially confirmed any relationship or marriage plans.

According to recent reports by Filmibeat, the families of the two have allegedly agreed to hold the wedding in Spain, followed by a reception in Chennai. However, all reports surrounding the alleged wedding currently remain unconfirmed rumours.

This is not the first time speculation linking Anirudh and Kavya Maran has made headlines. Similar rumours had previously circulated online before fading away without any official update from either party.

When such reports had surfaced earlier, Anirudh Ravichander had addressed the rumours through a post on X.

The singer wrote, "Marriage ah? lol .. Chill out guys...please stop spreading rumours (sic)." He had also added a laughing emoji, appearing amused by the speculation.

Anirudh Ravichander belongs to a family with deep roots in the entertainment industry. His father Ravi Raghavendra is an actor, while his mother Lakshmi is a classical dancer. His aunt Latha is married to Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, and his great-grandfather K Subramanyam was a pioneering filmmaker in the 1930s.

Professionally, Anirudh has composed music for several successful Tamil and Telugu films featuring stars including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Ajith Kumar, Suriya, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR.

He made his Bollywood debut with Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan.
