Billie Eilish relives Justin Bieber fangirl days after surprise Coachella cameo
At Coachella 2026, Billie Eilish shared the stage with Justin Bieber, fulfilling a long-held dream that dates back to her teenage years. She later posted nostalgic photos on Instagram, celebrating her journey as a devoted fan and the emotional milestone of performing alongside her idol.

It was a full-circle moment at Coachella this year when singer Billie Eilish ended up sharing the stage with Justin Bieber – and just days later, she decided to rewind time and revisit where it all began.
On April 23, Eilish posted a set of old photos and clips on Instagram, tracing her long-standing admiration for Bieber back to her teenage years. The post arrived shortly after she joined him on stage during his performance of One Less Lonely Girl at the festival.
“Don’t talk to me (sic),” the 24-year-old singer wrote in the caption, letting the visuals do most of the talking.
The first image showed a young Eilish dressed in a rainbow sequin dance costume and white Converse, posing in a bedroom filled with posters of Bieber, now 32. Another slide featured a whiteboard scribbled in purple marker, where she had rewritten lyrics of Aqua’s Barbie Girl while weaving in references to Bieber’s birthday, his Canadian roots, and her playful devotion to him.

“I’m a Bieber girl in a Bieber world,” she had written, before continuing into a self-made chant filled with fan-girl enthusiasm and exaggerated Bieber-themed wordplay.
The carousel continued with throwback images of Eilish wearing Bieber merchandise and sharing meme-style edits dedicated to him. The final slide showed a young Eilish dancing to Bieber’s 2013 track Confident.
The nostalgic post came shortly after a surprise Coachella moment on April 18, when Bieber brought Eilish on stage during his set. He invited her mid-performance of his 2009 hit One Less Lonely Girl, turning the appearance into a personal milestone for the self-proclaimed “Belieber,” whose admiration for him has been well documented over the years.
A day later, Eilish reflected on the experience via Instagram Stories, still visibly emotional. “Can’t stop crying,” she wrote alongside a selfie that showed her teary-eyed.
Her mother, Maggie Baird, also shared her reaction after the performance, calling it “one of the most touching moments ever.” She added, “We watch our children develop these deep, deep connections to artists who move them and usually there’s nothing in our power to do Watching this crazy unimaginable dream come true over many years is so incredible.”
