Barbadian singer and businesswoman Rihanna created a warm moment with a paparazzo when she invited him to join for a photo-op at an event in Mumbai. The clip drew everyone's attention, with fans praising her warm and polite behaviour with the papas. The singer, who arrived in the city on Saturday, took part in events related to her cosmetic brand, Fenty Beauty.
At the Mumbai event on Friday, Rihanna appeared on the red carpet in a black ensemble and posed for the paparazzi as they called out her name. During the interaction, one photographer asked if he could take a picture with her. Rihanna agreed and invited him on to the red carpet.
The singer then put an arm around the paparazzo's shoulder as they posed for a photograph together. Rihanna was seen smiling and blushing during the photo session.
Rihanna is in India for the launch of her cosmetics brand, Fenty Beauty, titled Fenty Beauty Ki Haveli. As the picture was being taken, other photographers moved forward in the hope of getting similar photographs, prompting laughter from Rihanna. The video quickly went viral online, with fans praising her interaction with the paparazzi at the Mumbai event.
A fan commented, "When she was in India last time, she took pictures with the airport staff, like all of them. She’s been doing this since 2 decades and still makes time to be kind. It’s not easy ! We should talk about this more (heart emoji) (sic)."
Another fan wrote, "Rihanna is so kind, none of the indian celebrities would ever do this with a commoner (sic)."
This isn't Rihanna's first visit to India. In 2024, she performed at Jamnagar during the pre-wedding celebrations for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The global star performed a medley of her greatest hits, such as Diamonds, Rude Boy, Pour It Up, and Wild Things, before being spotted enjoying the DJ sets.
Her visit also sparked several viral moments, including a dance with Shah Rukh Khan to his legendary track Chaiyya Chaiyya and a fun interaction with Janhvi Kapoor to the song Zingaat.
