Video: Somalia-bound cargo ship catches fire in Gujarat

A cargo ship from Jamnagar, bound for Somalia, caught fire off the Gujarat coast. The vessel was loaded with 950 tonnes of rice and 100 tonnes of sugar. According to the transcript, a speaker confirmed, "the fire has been contained." Following the outbreak, the fire department dispatched three fire tenders to the location. To prevent further damage, the ship was towed into open waters. The vessel was operated by a company identified as HRM of Jamnagar. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
