The Chief Minister stated, "it's been raining continuously for the last two days across the state, effort to transport people to safe places by helicopters." Rescue and restoration efforts are underway, but continuous rainfall is hampering the work. The situation remains grim in other parts of the state, like Manali as well, with reports of 16 casualties in the Chamba district alone.
