Video: Emotional reunion after Odisha man kidnapped by rebel forces in Sudan returns home

After three harrowing months in war-hit Sudan, Odia youth Adarsh Kumar Behera returned safely to Odisha on Tuesday, bringing relief and emotional scenes at the Bhubaneswar airport, where his parents and wife received him with tears of joy.

Adarsh, a resident of Kotkan village in Jagatsinghpur district, had been working with a private plastic company in Sudan for the past three years. During the ongoing civil war, he was allegedly abducted by rebel forces and subjected to severe physical and mental torture during captivity.

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
