In Punjab, which has been devastated by floods, Rahul Gandhi visited the Gurdaspur region to assess the situation for farmers. He was seen sitting on a tractor and later moving on foot through the flood-hit areas. He was accompanied by PCC president Amrita Singh, Raja Aurang, and local MP Surjit Singh Randhawa. The visit is intended to take stock of the havoc created by the floods in the state, which has severely impacted the local population and agricultural community.
