Heavy rains triggered flooding in several parts of Hyderabad, including the Old City, after the River Musi swelled and gates were lifted at the overflowing Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar reservoirs. CM Revanth Reddy ordered immediate evacuations from low-lying areas. Evacuated residents were shifted to relief camps where food and essentials are being provided.
