43 per cent respondents believe CAA, NRC attempts to divert attention: MOTN poll

India Today's Mood of the Nation poll found that 43 per cent respondents believe that CAA and NRC are attempts to divert attention from serious economic issues like unemployment and price rise.

However, 32 per cent respondents said they don't think these issues are aimed at diverting public attention from serious issues, while 25 per cent said they either can't say/don't know.

Meanwhile, 41 per cent respondents believe that CAA will help persecuted, 26 per cent feel it's biased and 33 per cent say they can't say.
