Chandrapur Farmer Roshan Kude Sells Kidney in Cambodia to Repay Loan; 4 Moneylenders Arrested

In a harrowing incident from Maharashtra's Chandrapur, farmer Roshan Kude claimed he was forced to sell his kidney in Cambodia to repay a loan of Rs 1 lakh that spiralled into a massive debt. Speaking to India Today, Kude revealed, 'I sold my kidneys for 8 lakh rupees' after losing his farm assets. Police have arrested four moneylenders for extortion. Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi condemned the incident, stating the government has 'no right to rule' if farmers are forced into such desperate measures.
