A lawyer who tried to attack the Chief Justice of India has defended his actions, claiming, "God made me do it." He stated he was directed by God to commit the act while meditating, as a reaction to what he perceived as an insult to Sanatan Dharm. The lawyer also said, "sanatan ka apmaan nahin sahega Hindustan." The incident prompted condemnation from various quarters, including the Prime Minister, who noted on social media that the nation is angered by the act. The lawyer, who has been suspended by the Bar Council, stated he has no remorse and will challenge the suspension. He maintains he will stand by his actions, which he believes were to protect Sanatan Dharm.
