The Biyas and Saklech rivers have swollen, crossing danger marks. Infrastructure damage includes swept-away cars and collapsed bridges. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu has asked citizens to avoid riversides. Rescue operations are ongoing, with NDRF teams deployed in affected areas. Schools have been ordered to close as a precautionary measure.
