India Today has accessed the details of how the Chinese army made yet another attempt to carry out "provocative military movements to change the status quo" on the southern bank of the Pangong Tso Lake area in eastern Ladakh on the intervening night of August 29-30 and how Indian Army thwarted their attempt.
According to information, at around 11 pm on August 29 around 200 Chinese soldiers came in convoy, including some SUVs. Meanwhile, the Indian Army had prior intel about the deployment and was prepared to handle any situation in that area.
