Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has finally begun the process of exploring ways to form the govt in the state. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has asked BJP, the single largest party, to indicate whether it is willing to form the govt or not.

Even weeks after elections results were announced, no single party or alliance has staked claim to form the government.

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
