Massive security for Amarnath Yatra: Women commandos, drones, and CCTV surveillance

Ahead of the Amarnath Yatra scheduled to begin on July 3rd, authorities have implemented comprehensive security measures. The arrangements include deployment of 581 paramilitary companies, women commandos, marksmen, bullet-proof vehicles, and drone surveillance. Security forces are monitoring National Highway 144, with bomb disposal squads and KNI units positioned along pilgrimage routes. The measures come in response to recent attacks in Pahalgam, aiming to protect pilgrims and thwart potential threats.
