Vikas Dubey encounter: It's just a beginning, entire gang has to be busted now, says former UP DGP

Former Uttar Pradesh DGP Arvind Jain told India Today what's the next step police will take in the Kanpur shootout case after Vikas Dubey has been killed in an encounter on Friday morning. He said: "This is just the first step. The UP police have to cover a long distance. The entire gang has to be busted. the accused have to be arrested and looted weapons have to be recovered."

Vikas Dubey was killed in an encounter in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur on Friday morning. The encounter broke out after a police vehicle carrying Vikas Dubey from Ujjain to Kanpur met with an accident and the gangster attempted to escape. Dubey was arrested from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday and had reached Kanpur from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh on Friday morning.
