A Srinagar-bound IndiGo flight from Delhi with 227 passengers on board hit turbulence midair on Wednesday due to inclement weather, prompting the pilot to report the “emergency” to air traffic control at Srinagar. However, the flight landed safely at Srinagar at 1830 hours. All crew and passengers are safe, but the aircraft suffered damage to the nose and the plane has been declared aircraft on the ground by IndiGo.
