Delhi Metro will begin services as early as 3 AM on April 5 to facilitate participants of the Soldierathon Marathon. Trains will run at 30-minute intervals on select lines before resuming the regular Sunday schedule later in the morning.

Commuters in Delhi-NCR will see an early start to metro services this Sunday as the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation announces special arrangements for the upcoming marathon event.
EARLY METRO SERVICES FROM 3 AM
To facilitate participants of the PNB Soldierathon Marathon at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, metro train services will begin as early as 3:00 AM on April 5, 2026 (Sunday).
Trains will operate at 30-minute intervals until 6:00 AM, after which normal Sunday schedules will resume.
ROUTES COVERED UNDER EARLY SERVICES
The early metro services will be available on key routes across major lines:
Yellow Line: Samaypur Badli Millennium City Centre Gurugram
Blue Line: Dwarka Sec-21 / Dwarka Noida Electronic City / Vaishali
Violet Line: Kashmere Gate Raja Nahar Singh
These routes are expected to support a large number of participants travelling to the marathon venue.
REGULAR TIMINGS FOR OTHER LINES
Metro services on all other lines will operate as per the standard Sunday timetable, with no changes announced for those routes.
