Delhi is set for major traffic disruptions as a large Shobha Yatra marks B. R. Ambedkar's 135th birth anniversary. Several key roads will see diversions and restrictions. Check routes, timings, and parking details before stepping out.
Delhi Traffic Police has issued a major advisory in connection with the Shobha Yatra and public meeting being organised on the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The event will be held at Ram Leela Ground on 14 April 2026, with large gatherings expected throughout the day.
EVENT TIMINGS AND VENUE DETAILS
The programme will take place at Ram Leela Ground from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM.
A public meeting is scheduled between 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM, following which the Shobha Yatra will commence.
SHOBHA YATRA ROUTE THROUGH CENTRAL AND NORTH DELHI
After the public meeting, the procession will move from Ramleela Ground towards Dr. Ambedkar Bhawan, Paharganj, covering several key city stretches.
