And the wait has come to an end! An explosive first look teaser for Shiv Rawail's highly-anticipated spy-thriller Alpha was released on Wednesday. Starring Alia Bhatt in a never-seen-before avatar, it features her all guns blazing, alongside Bobby Deol, who plays the role of her father.
Alia Bhatt is not waiting to be rescued in Alpha. The actor takes charge as a trained assassin in the first teaser of Yash Raj Films' upcoming spy thriller and seventh film in the popular spy universe. The glimpse also confirms that the film will arrive in cinemas worldwide on July 3, 2026.

The teaser introduces Alia as a young assassin who appears to have been raised and trained for a life of violence. Packed with action sequences, gunfights and hand-to-hand combat, the glimpse hints at a high-stakes mission while also establishing the complex relationship between her character and Bobby Deol's.
While Alia takes centre stage in the teaser, Yash Raj Films is expected to reveal more about Sharvari's character as part of the film's promotional campaign in the coming weeks.
Set within the expanding YRF Spy Universe, Alpha marks one of the rare mainstream Hindi action films led by two female protagonists. The film aims to blend large-scale action with emotional storytelling, humour and suspense.
