Aishwarya Rai channels a modern-day swan queen in dramatic white suit at Cannes
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a striking appearance at Cannes 2026 in an all-white feathered power suit. Her dramatic swan-inspired look, designed by Cheney Chan, stood out for its bold styling and elegant detailing.

Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again stopped the red carpet crowd at the ongoing Cannes International Film Festival in a white power suit. The highlight of the look, however, apart from her forever visible grace, was how she styled the suit.
The outfit included a blazer with bejewelled lapels, a feathered cape, and tailored trousers with lace detailing. The look was designed by Chinese designer Cheney Chan.
She kept her glam minimal yet elegant with nude lips, softly defined brows, kohl-rimmed eyes, and voluminous loose waves.
Aishwarya Rai's first Cannes 2026 look
Aishwarya made her first Cannes 2026 appearance in a sculpted blue mermaid-style gown by designer Amit Aggarwal, which also marked his Cannes debut. She completed the look with a shimmery dupatta.
Following the red carpet, Aishwarya attended the Lights on Women’s Worth event, L’Oral Paris’ initiative celebrating emerging female filmmakers, accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, who wore a ruby-red gown with a matching cape.
At the event, Aaradhya completed her look with soft, loose hair and posed alongside her mother on the red carpet.
For her second appearance at Cannes 2026, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opted for a pink ensemble featuring a cape-style silhouette with floral detailing and ruched textures, offering a softer contrast to her earlier structured mermaid look.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Cannes Debut
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan first walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in 2002 for the premiere of Devdas, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She returned the following year as a global ambassador for L’Oral Paris.
Over the years, she has become one of the most recognisable Indian personalities at Cannes, making consistent appearances on the red carpet for more than two decades.
Her looks - from elaborate gowns and traditional sarees to bold beauty statements - have often sparked widespread discussion online and continue to remain a major highlight for Indian audiences each year.
