Log velle hai: Bobby Deol shuts down fallout rumours with Alia Bhatt on Alpha set
Bobby Deol set the record straight and denied reports of a fallout with Alia Bhatt during the making of Alpha. Praising her work ethic, he said much of what circulates online is inaccurate.
Ahead of Alpha's release, Bobby Deol has rubbished reports of a fallout with co-star Alia Bhatt on the film's set. Dismissing the rumours as baseless, the actor said there was no truth to the claims and called Alia one of his favourite actors.
During his appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, Bobby said he first came to know about the rumour when a friend sent him a snapshot of it. He also addressed claims that he was so unhappy with Alia Bhatt during the shoot of Alpha that Aditya Chopra offered him another film to make up for the experience.
Reacting to the rumours, Bobby said, "Even I was shocked when a friend sent me a snapshot of this rumour. Log itne velle hain ki kuch bhi likhke bana dete hain (People have so much free time that they make up and write anything)."
Bobby added that he had just wrapped Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor when he got the offer for Alpha. He said he was thrilled to join the film and work with Alia Bhatt, calling Ranbir and Alia two of his favourite actors in the industry.
The 57-year-old actor also spoke fondly about his experience of working with Alia and praised her dedication and preparation for the film.
Sharing his thoughts on his co-star, he said, "It was so nice (working with Alia), she is such a good actress and works so hard. I didn't get why people wrote that. And then they even wrote that Bobby was so miffed that Aditya Chopra offered him another film."
He further said that a large portion of the content circulating on Instagram is inaccurate, and reiterated that there was no truth to the rumours surrounding him and Alia.
