Ramayana producer confirms Ranbir Kapoor's Lord Rama glimpse on Hanuman Jayanti
Ranbir Kapoor's first look as Lord Rama is scheduled to be released on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti next month. The announcement was made by the film's producer on Ram Navami.

Namit Malhotra, producer of Ramayana, on Friday announced that the first glimpse of Lord Ram from the film will be released on Hanuman Jayanti. The announcement was made on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.
Malhotra shared a post on social media, stating that the story of Ramayana belongs to everyone. The post read, "Shubh Rama Navami. This is a story that belongs to all of us, and every step we take has been guided by a deep sense of responsibility, devotion, and care to bring our very own Ramayana to life in its truest spirit and scale, with utmost sincerity (sic)."
He added, "We look forward to sharing the next glimpse, ‘Rama’, on 2nd April, on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, as we begin to showcase all these years of our effort through a grand world reveal with fans, celebrating this moment across the world. Thank you for your love, faith, and patience. Namit Malhotra (sic)."
Actor Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram in the two-part Ramayana film series, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film is a grand cinematic adaptation of sage Valmiki's epic Ramayana.
Meanwhile, a recent report by Variety suggests that the team behind Ramayana is gearing up to begin its promotional campaign in the United States. This would mark the film’s first official outreach since the unveiling of its poster and initial teaser.
According to the report, Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram, along with director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra (of DNEG), are expected to participate in a media interaction soon. The event is likely to feature exclusive glimpses and key material from the ambitious project.
The film also features Sai Pallavi as goddess Sita, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Laxman, and Yash as Ravan among others. The first part of Ramayana is scheduled to hit the screens as the big Diwali release this year.
