Ranveer Singh moves to end Don 3 row with Farhan Akhtar, may return Rs 10 crore fee
The Don 3 controversy takes a new turn as reports claim Ranveer Singh may have taken a major step to resolve his fallout with Farhan Akhtar.

There's a fresh twist in the ongoing Don 3 saga, and this one comes with a dose of damage control, if early reports are to be believed.
According to a Free Press Journal report, actor Ranveer Singh has decided to return his reported Rs 10 crore signing amount for the film, which is being helmed by Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment. The move, if accurate, signals an attempt to close the chapter on what has been a rather public fallout.
That's not all. The same report suggests that Ranveer has also offered Excel Entertainment a stake in his upcoming project, tentatively titled Pralaay. Details of the arrangement, including the size of the stake, remain undisclosed for now.
It's worth noting that none of the parties involved - Ranveer, Farhan, or Excel - have officially confirmed these developments so far.
All about the Don 3 controversy
For those just tuning in, the tension reportedly began after Ranveer's exit from Don 3, a project that had already generated significant buzz. Industry chatter pointed to disagreements over the script and concerns around the film's direction. Reports also claimed that Excel Entertainment was seeking compensation of around Rs 40 crore, citing pre-production investments and scheduling disruptions, maintaining that the project had moved ahead with the actor's consent.
As the situation escalated, there were murmurs of the Producers Guild of India stepping in to mediate. Adding to the intrigue, rumours even linked Aamir Khan to behind-the-scenes peace talks - claims he has since denied.
The future of Don 3
Where does this leave Don 3, though? Still very much in limbo. With no official clarity, conflicting reports, and speculation ranging from recasting to Farhan Akhtar himself possibly stepping into the iconic role, the future of the franchise remains uncertain.
One thing, however, is clear: in true Bollywood fashion, this story is far from its final act.
