Salman Khan back on Instagram after brief account deactivation
Salman Khan's Instagram account was briefly deactivated on Monday. However, it was restored within minutes, leaving the superstar's fans breathing a sigh of relief.

Actor Salman Khan has returned to Instagram after a brief deactivation of his account. The actor had seemingly disabled his profile for a few minutes on Monday afternoon, with the page displaying the message: "Sorry, this page isn’t available."
While Salman did not issue any official statement or clarification, the brief disappearance came just days after he publicly scolded paparazzi on Instagram for hounding him outside a hospital and aggressively chasing him for pictures. However, the temporary deactivation may simply have been the result of a technical glitch.
Earlier this month, Khan reacted strongly to the recent paparazzi chaos outside Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital, where photographers allegedly followed him and repeatedly shouted for his attention. The actor later shared a series of emotional posts slamming paparazzi behaviour around hospitals and warning against turning someone's difficult moments into content.
Salman Khan's harsh posts for paparazzi
In his posts that were shared at around 2 am on Wednesday (May 20), the superstar expressed anger over what he called insensitive conduct, saying he has always supported the media but cannot accept attention-seeking during difficult moments. He also asserted that he is still ready to stand his ground, stating he has "not forgotten how to fight," in response to the situation.
On Tuesday (May 19) night, the 60-year-old visited Hinduja hospital and while exiting, paps called out 'bhai bhai', which upset him. He instructed them to keep quiet near the hospital, asking them if they would behave if one of their own was hospitalised.
Sharing selfies alongside emotional notes, Salman wrote, "If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for interacted with taken care made sure that they also earn their bread n butter (sic)."
"But if they wanna make money from my losses. Keep quiet don’t enjoy.bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life (Pics more important than life) (sic)," he wrote in another post.
The actor even threatened the paparazzi and added, "Aise main sau jala doonga.Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath. Buss try kar lena. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga (In such a situation, I will go to any extent and won’t hesitate to take strong action. Next time, try this with me over someone’s pain or suffering. Just try it. When someone from your own family is in the hospital, will I react the same way) (sic)?"
In another strongly worded message, the superstar mentioned his upcoming film Maatrubhumi, suggesting that even his film is not bigger than the health of others. "Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haar (I’m 60-years-old, but I haven’t forgotten how to fight - remember that. Even if you put me in jail) (sic)," he wrote in the caption of another post.
In the clips shared earlier on social media, Salman could be seen asking the photographers to remain quiet near the hospital and questioning how they would react if one of their own family members was admitted inside. The photographers were later heard apologising to the actor.
