Actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli once again won hearts online after sharing an emotional moment following Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) dominant win over Gujarat Titans (GT) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2026 at Dharamsala on Tuesday (May 27). Moments after RCB stormed into the final, Virat rushed towards the stands to hug Anushka in a heartfelt moment, and videos of the couple quickly went viral across social media.

Videos and photos circulating online showed Virat making his way towards the stands immediately after the victory to celebrate with Anushka. The actor, who had been cheering throughout the match, warmly hugged him as the crowd erupted in celebration. Fans were quick to share clips of the emotional exchange, calling it one of the most wholesome moments from the IPL season.

Apart from cheering for Virat and RCB, Anushka was also seen praying during tense moments of the high-pressure clash. Several photos from the stands showed the actor chanting while wearing a Radha Naam jap counter ring on her finger.

In another moment that caught fans’ attention, she was seen with folded hands, seemingly praying as the match neared its crucial stages.

Anushka has been a regular at several RCB matches over the years as she continues to support Virat from the stands during important fixtures.

On the professional front, Anushka made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. Over the years, she featured in successful films such as Band Baaja Baaraat, PK, Dil Dhadakne Do and Sanju.

Her last full-fledged film appearance came in Zero (2018). She later made a brief cameo in Qala (2022), backed by her production house.

In 2022, Anushka also completed shooting for Chakda 'Xpress, based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. However, the film is yet to receive an official release date.
