As Dilip Kumar breathed his last today, July 7, Shah Rukh Khan visited his house in Mumbai to console the veteran actor's wife, Saira Banu.

SRK was very close to the couple and respected them a lot. In fact, Saira often referred to him as her son.

The Bollywood actor had even visited Dilip Kumar a few years back when he was unwell.

After the legendary actor's death, fans shared an old video from 2001 where SRK is seen rolling out the red carpet for Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu.

After suffering from a long illness, Dilip Kumar passed away at 98. SRK was seen consoling Saira Banu.
