Drishyam 3 box office Day 6: Mohanlal film beats Aadujeevitham lifetime earnings
Drishyam 3 stayed steady on its first Tuesday and crossed Rs 170.32 crore worldwide in six days. The Malayalam version continued to drive the film's strong box office run.

Drishyam 3 continued its strong run at the box office on Day 6, even as it recorded the usual weekday drop. The Mohanlal-starrer, directed by Jeethu Joseph, remained steady on its first Tuesday and crossed the Rs 170-crore mark worldwide within six days of release.
According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 6.45 crore nett in India on Day 6. This was a 16.2 per cent drop from Monday's Rs 7.70 crore nett, but the film held firm on a working day. With this, its total India nett collection has gone up to Rs 68.60 crore.
Day 6 collections in India and overseas
The film was screened across 4,668 shows nationwide on Tuesday. Overseas, it collected Rs 6 crore on the day, taking its international gross total to Rs 90.70 crore. Its worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 170.32 crore.
With this milestone, Drishyam 3 has surpassed the lifetime worldwide collection of Aadujeevitham, directed by Blessy and starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, which had earned Rs 157.6 crore globally. The latest Jeethu Joseph directorial has now become the seventh highest-grossing Malayalam film worldwide.
Drishyam 3 is also the second Malayalam film of 2026 to cross the Rs 150-crore mark after Vaazha II. Additionally, it marks the third Mohanlal film to enter the prestigious Rs 200-crore club after Thudarum and L2: Empuraan.
Kerala remained the film's strongest market, contributing Rs 5.65 crore gross on Day 6 alone. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana added Rs 60 lakh, while Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 50 lakh. Karnataka brought in Rs 43 lakh, and the rest of India contributed Rs 30 lakh.
Language-wise performance
The Malayalam version continued to lead the collections, earning Rs 5.50 crore nett from 2,641 shows. The Telugu version collected Rs 60 lakh from 1,310 shows, while the Tamil version earned Rs 25 lakh from 530 shows. The Kannada version added Rs 10 lakh from 187 shows.
Occupancy trends
Occupancy figures showed that footfall improved during the later shows. The Malayalam version recorded an overall occupancy of 39.06 per cent, with evening and night shows performing best at 46.83 per cent and 54.33 per cent, respectively. The Telugu version registered 14.75 per cent occupancy, while the Tamil and Kannada versions recorded 19.24 per cent and 14.53 per cent respectively.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Drishyam 3 stars Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil in key roles. The cast also includes Siddique, Murali Gopy, Biju Menon and Kalabhavan Shajohn in pivotal parts.
