Is Allu Arjun planning to shift base to Mumbai? His father breaks silence
Rumours were rife that Allu Arjun is planning to shift to Mumbai to work on his upcoming projects. His father and producer Allu Aravind broke his silence on the speculation.

Speculation has been rife about whether Allu Arjun is planning to relocate to Mumbai. Reports on Sunday suggested that the actor might be setting up a new residence in the city due to his work commitments. However, his producer-father, Allu Aravind, has refuted these claims.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, his father and producer Allu Aravind said, "No. Since his current film is being shot in Mumbai, it may appear that way. But Hyderabad is where Allu’s heart and home are. His children study there, and all his loved ones are based in Hyderabad. Why would he move to Mumbai?"
In the upcoming months, Allu Arjun is expected to travel frequently between Hyderabad and Mumbai for the filming of director Atlee’s Raaka, a mega-budget sci-fi entertainer. Despite this, the actor has no intentions of shifting his base permanently or expanding his fame beyond Telugu cinema.
Reports suggest that Allu Arjun has decided to rent a home in Mumbai so he could stay at his home during his visits.
Allu Arjun rents Rs 16 lakh per month home in Mumbai
According to Mid-Day, Allu Arjun is reportedly leasing a property in Mumbai, spending Rs 16 lakh per month over a three-year lease, amounting to Rs 25 crore. The actor had specific requirements for this Mumbai home, insisting it be sea-facing. The chosen property, located at the Juhu Tara Road junction, is a luxurious apartment spread over 6,000 square feet, complete with a plunge pool and four car parking spaces.
The actor, along with his wife Sneha, has been involved in overseeing the interior design of the apartment, which they envision as a tranquil space filled with greenery and the calming sound of the sea. The apartment will serve as a home for his family during school vacations, providing a peaceful environment for Arjun to prepare for his films, including Raaka and another project with director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The neighbourhood is also home to other celebrities, including Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal and Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli.
