Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar recently opened up about his love for cinema and motor racing in an exclusive conversation with India Today. He underlined that sustaining injuries while performing his stunts on film sets doesn't deter him. The actor also said everyone has their good or bad days. However, he said the excitement that comes after things fall into place makes one happy.
Speaking to India Today, the actor said, "All my injuries, all the surgeries that I underwent, were due to injuries I sustained at the shooting spot while performing my stunts. So, that didn't deter me. Nor did fans tell me, "Oh, you're getting hurt. Please don't do films. Why would it deter me in motor sports?"
He added, "You have bad days, you have good days, but when you get on the podium or you do very well in a race, the recognition that you get, the high you get, you feel good about everything. When things fall into place, you get excited. It makes you happy.It makes my soul happy."
In the same conversation, the 54-year-old also spoke about having a special logo for Indian cinema on his race car. He further touched upon the topic of managing a race when in a film schedule.
