Kashmir clampdown: Communication blackout enters day 10, Ajit Doval chairs high-level security meet

As the clampdown in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday entered its 10th day, the valley continued to remain on high alert ahead of Independence Day. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval chaired a high-level security meeting as preparations for Independence Day are underway.

The government claims that medical services are being provided to the people without any hindrances and the national highway continues to function normally. While the authorities say that there is no violence in the valley, locals are claiming that atrocities by security forces are there.
