Rajinikanth vs Kamal Haasan: Politics to films, the battle of the superstars

It's the clash of the titans in the political arena as well as on the big screen. Rajinikanth's Kaala is one of the most-anticipated films of the year, courtesy the trailer. And then there is 2.0, India's costliest film ever. Even before the film's release, the makers have sold the satellite rights for a whopping Rs 110 crore.
Kamal Haasan, however, has struggled to deliver a hit at the box office. But you cannot dismiss an actor of Kamal's calibre. Haasan will return with Vishwaroopam 2 which has been cleared by the censor board with U/A certficate. Apart from this, Haasan also has Indian 2 in his kitty.
Interestingly, both the superstars are making their entry into politics this year.

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony. The TVK managed to secure the Governor's nod to form the government after the Congress, the CPI, the CPI(M), the VCK, and IUML extended their support to the Vijay-led party for a colaition government.
