Delhi air pollution: Arvind Kejriwal urges Centre to come out with plan to check stubble burning

As the capital remains to battle air pollution, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday urged the Central to provide a detailed action plan on the ongoing matter. In an interview to India Today TV, the chief minister said, "What Delhi government can do to stop stubble burning? I have sent masks to Delhi citizens but if stubble burning is occurring in Punjab and Haryana and the smoke from it is reaching Delhi, the central government has to intervene.” For more, watch this episode of In Depth.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
