Threats of sanctions will boomerang under PM Modi's leadership: Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and said under his leadership any threats of sanctions would boomerang.
Opposition parties in Jammu and Kashmir have come out all guns blazing against former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah after former Raw chief AS Dulat claimed in his book that the National Conference president told him that he could have "helped" pass the proposal to abrogate Article 370 in the Assembly if the Centre had taken him into confidence. Dulat said Abdullah made the disclosure after the Centre engaged him to talk to Abdullah while he was under house arrest following the August 5, 2019, move.
Abdullah has, however, rejected the claims and called the former top spy's remarks a "cheap stunt" to boost the sales of his book. However, AS Dulat said that the book in fact praises Farooq Abdullah. To shed more light and provide further details of his revelation, former Raw chief AS Dulat exclusively spoke to Gaurav Sawant on India First. Watch more on India First.
