Ladakh faceoff: India, China on the brink of war?

Day after China's PLA alleged that the Indian troops crossed the LAC and "outrageously fired" warning shots near the Pangong lake, Indian Army said it was Chinese troops who fired shots in the air and attempted to close in on an Indian position.

Meanwhile, the ongoing brigadier-level talks between the officers from Indian and Chinese armies took a sour turn on Tuesday as military leaders from both sides decided against holding in-person talks after Monday's LAC clash. According to sources, officers from both sides exchanged heated arguments over the hotline.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
