Karnataka Minister confirms Siddaramaiah will resign: Will this end political turmoil or just the beginning?

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is set to resign and hand over power to the Deputy Chief Minister following instructions from the ruling party's central leadership. Although he declined to comment, but Karnataka minister Ashok Pattan confirmed India Today's news break about Siddaramaiah's resignation and said he would submit his resignation to the Governor at 3 PM on Thursday. He also said that DK Shivakumar may get the reins of the state. A breakfast meeting with the state cabinet is scheduled before the official resignation is submitted to the Governor.
