Trump calls PM Modi 'great man', hints at visiting India in 2026, and more

As the India-US continued trade talks and after the signing of a 10-year defence framework agreement, President Donald Trump, while speaking to reporters at the White House, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as a great man and a friend.

And when a reporter asked if he had plans to visit India, he said he is likely to visit India next year. Also, according to reports, Islamabad demanded $10,000 per soldier from Israel to deploy its troops to Gaza under the new International Stabilization Force. The peacekeeping plan, part of U.S. President Donald Trump's 20-point Gaza proposal, called for the ISF to secure the territory.
