After missing out on a chance to defend his Tokyo Olympics gold at the Paris Games, India's javelin ace Neeraj Chopra got straight back into action with a second place finish at the Lausanne Diamond League, where he finished second with a 89.49m throw. The Lausanne result made it 2,174 days since Neeraj finished outside the top three in a javelin competition. He has secured a podium finish in 23 consecutive competitions-a remarkable streak that dates back to 2020.
