Amelia Kerr continues fairytale run, becomes No.1 Women's T20I all-rounder
Amelia Kerr and Georgia Voll scaled new heights in the latest ICC Women's T20I rankings, with the New Zealander becoming the No. 1 all-rounder and the Australian rising to the top spot among batters.

New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr has climbed to No.1 in the ICC Women’s T20I all-rounder rankings for the first time in her career. She achieved the milestone with a career-best rating of 508, dethroning West Indies captain Hayley Matthews, who had held the top spot since October 2023.
Kerr was outstanding in the recent series against Zimbabwe, starring with both bat and ball. She became only the fourth women’s cricketer after Chamari Athapaththu, Meg Lanning and Matthews to score multiple T20I centuries as captain. In men’s T20Is, only Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam have achieved the same feat.
Kerr also recently became the first cricketer across men’s and women’s T20Is to register 11 consecutive scores of 30 or more. Since taking over as White Ferns’ full-time captain from the legendary Sophie Devine, she has also claimed 11 wickets at an average of 22.27.
Kerr has also climbed three spots to 10th in the updated ICC Women’s T20I bowling rankings, while Pakistan spinner Sadia Iqbal continues to hold a narrow lead at the top, with England’s Sophie Ecclestone just 17 points behind.
GEORGIA VOLL REWARDED
Australian batter Georgia Voll has also climbed to No. 1 in the ICC Women’s T20I batting rankings, replacing her teammate Beth Mooney at the top after jumping eight places. The right-hander recently smashed the third-fastest T20I century by an Australian woman, reaching the landmark in just 52 balls, and was named Player of the Match in the third T20I against West Indies in Kingston for her 101 off 53 deliveries.
Voll also became the fourth-youngest woman to score a century in both white-ball formats, achieving the feat at the age of 22 years and 230 days. She finished as the leading run-scorer of the series with 148 runs from three matches at an average of 49.33 and a strike rate of 172.09.
Among Indians, Smriti Mandhana slipped to No. 3 in the batting rankings, while Jemimah Rodrigues broke into the top 10 at No.10. In the bowling charts, Renuka Singh climbed to No. 5 and Arundhati Reddy rose to No. 9, while Deepti Sharma remained third among all-rounders.
