Controversy marred the Asia Cup final presentation as India were denied their winners’ medals and trophy despite clinching the title. The players went up on the dais only after the dignitaries had left, celebrating their victory without the silverware. Adding to the drama, an ACC official was seen rushing away with the trophy on instructions from PCB and ACC chief Mohsin Naqvi, who had earlier been snubbed by the Indian team during the presentation.
