IND vs ENG: Jasprit Bumrah happy to leave team 'one step ahead' after 6-wicket haul in Vizag

Jasprit Bumrah said that he was happy with his performance on January 3 which helped India take the advantage in the second Test on day two. Bumrah picked up 6 wickets for 45 runs.

"That, you guys will dissect and decide which spell is good. As long you are able to contribute to your team, and leave your team ina good space, that performance matters to me. Be it 6 wickets, be it two wickets, if you are able to contribute to the team in important phases and leave the team one step ahead, that is more important." 

"In first-class cricket, if you want to take wickets in India. Probably, I learned to bowl reverse swing before conventional swing because you play a lot of cricket on slow wickets, you understand what you want to do on such pitches, how to take wickets, what are the areas that you have hit. In the nets, you practice all those skills and try and execute them," said Bumrah.
