India pacer Mohammed Siraj feels that his workload management may have led to being snubbed from the T20 World Cup 2026 squad. Siraj played the last edition of the tournament and played a crucial role in India's win.
"In ODIs, I was rested in the last series because we had just finished a long South Africa series where I bowled close to 40 overs. Then I played the Australia series. For a fast bowler, rest is extremely important because the workload in Test cricket is very high. After resting, you come back fresh and focus on rhythm again."
"Playing a World Cup is a dream for any player. Representing your country at that level is special. The current team looks very strong on paper and in form, so I wish them all the best. Bring the trophy home," said Siraj.
