It’s Friday, and what a week it’s been. The Middle East dominated headlines yet again — a shaky ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon came into effect, even as US-Iran talks looked like they could swing either way at any moment. The Strait of Hormuz drama kept oil markets on edge, and closer to home, the Indian government constituted the AI Governance and Economic Group (AIGEG) to steer the country’s AI policy. In short, the world had a lot going on.

But tech, as always, didn’t pause for any of it. While smartphones grabbed their share of the spotlight this week, there were a few other launches worth slowing down for. A smart TV from Lumio that’s trying to redefine what a panel at this price can do, a Dyson purifier that quite literally follows you around the room, and a 5K monitor that feels like it could have been built in an Apple lab.

Honestly, if you blinked, you might have missed a few of these. But we’ve got you covered. Let’s get into it.

Lumio Vision 9 smart TV

If you’ve been putting off upgrading your TV, Lumio might just have the nudge you needed. The brand has launched its new Vision 9 (2026) smart TV in India, and on paper, it seems to be punching well above what you’d expect at this price.

The Vision 9 comes in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes and is built around a QD MiniLED panel with up to 800 nits brightness and Dolby Vision support. For gamers, it offers refresh rates of up to 144Hz at 4K and 240Hz at 1080p. Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Pentonic 700 chipset paired with 3GB RAM to keep things smooth across apps and menus. Audio is handled by a 50W hexa-driver setup with dual subwoofers and Dolby Atmos, while the TV runs Android 14 with Lumio’s TLDR 2.0 interface.

There’s also a feature called Project Neo, which lets you control the TV and browse content through apps like WhatsApp and Instagram.

On the pricing side, the 65-inch Vision 9 goes on sale from April 24 on Amazon and Flipkart at Rs 72,999, with offers bringing it down to Rs 64,999. The 55-inch model is expected in May. Lumio is also refreshing the Vision 7 (2026) alongside it, starting at Rs 29,999 for the 43-inch version and Rs 39,999 for the 55-inch model.

Dyson Find+Follow Purifier Cool

When we think about air purifiers, Dyson is often the first name that comes to mind. To expand its purifying portfolio, this week, the company introduced something a bit smarter, an air purifier that quite literally follows you around the room.

The Find+Follow Purifier Cool is a purifying fan that uses AI-based sensing with a 17-point detection system to track your movement in real time and direct airflow exactly where you are. If multiple people are in the room, it intelligently shares airflow between them. And if no one is around, it stops entirely to save energy.

Beyond the clever airflow tracking, it’s a fully capable air purifier with a sealed HEPA H13 system and K-Carbon filtration, designed to capture pollutants like NO, VOCs and ultrafine particles. There’s also automatic air quality sensing, a quiet night mode, and full controls via the MyDyson app.

However, you might need to wait for this one. India pricing and availability haven’t been confirmed yet. The Find+Follow Purifier Cool is rolling out in select global markets first, with an India timeline expected closer to launch.

BenQ MA270S 5K monitor

This week, BenQ is also stepping deeper into the Mac-focused display space with the launch of its new MA270S 5K monitor, aimed squarely at creators and professionals.

You also get Thunderbolt 4 connectivity with up to 96W power delivery, support for dual 5K daisy chaining, Smart KVM for switching between devices, and a fully adjustable ergonomic stand.

The BenQ MA270S is priced at Rs 94,998 and is available now across leading IT retail stores and major e-commerce platforms in India.

Zebronics ZEB-PixaPlay 77G smart projector

Running on Google TV, it offers built-in access to apps like Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and JioHotstar. The ZEB-PixaPlay 77G is priced at Rs 17,999 as an introductory offer and will be available via Amazon and Flipkart.

GoBoult AmpVault V10 and V20 power banks

Rounding off this week is GoBoult, which is expanding its Mustang-themed lineup into charging accessories with two new power banks: the AmpVault V10 and V20.

The V10 is the more compact option with a 10,000mAh battery. It offers 15W wireless MagSafe-style charging, 22.5W wired fast charging with Adaptive PPS, an integrated Type-C cable, dual output ports, and a foldable kickstand for added convenience. The V20, on the other hand, is built for heavier use, packing a 20,000mAh battery, 22.5W fast charging, and triple output ports to charge multiple devices at once. Both models carry GoBoult’s signature Mustang-inspired design, with racing stripes, matte finishes, and a Fuel Gauge LED indicator for battery status.

Both the AmpVault V10 and V20 are priced at Rs 1,499 each at launch, down from an MRP of Rs 4,999 and are available across Myntra, Flipkart, Amazon, and the brand’s official website.
