5-year-old boy's adorable reaction to unwrapping gifts is all about simple joys

Sometimes, it’s the smallest things that bring the biggest joy, and the internet was reminded of that after an adorable video of a little boy opening a birthday gift hamper went viral.

Nehal, a reel creator, shared the clip with a simple question: “Why did we stop living like this?”

The boy, her cousin Vavachy, had just turned five when the moment was recorded. As he excitedly tore open the wrapping paper, he discovered the hamper filled with colourful goodies - bright sketch pens, a fresh pack of crayons, chocolates, and a notebook.

What followed was pure, unfiltered delight. His eyes widened with every item he pulled out, his excitement building as he went through the hamper piece by piece. At one point, he let out a loud shriek of joy, unable to contain himself. Clutching his gifts, he kept saying “thank you, thank you,” his face lighting up with a grin that said it all as he did a little dance.

It’s the kind of video that’s hard to scroll past, and even harder not to replay.
