Watch: Fox sighting briefly halts IndiGo aircraft movement
An IndiGo flight at Dhaka airport was briefly held after a fox was spotted near the taxiway. However, when a man from the control team came, he did not find anything except a polythene bag on the taxiway.

An IndiGo Airlines flight at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport failed to move after a jackal suddenly appeared in the taxiway area. The pilot of the 6E1103 carrier called the control tower and informed them that the flight could not head towards the runway, using the taxiway area, because of the fox.
“Sir, I can see a fox on the grass 30 feet to the right of the aeroplane, and it is standing there. We’re on hold. Clear of it, and we will taxi,” the pilot was heard saying in a video, which was shared by a handle on X. India Today has not verified the video.
The control tower’s reaction was swift. It asked the pilot not to move and assured him of quick intervention. It said that a few people would be dispatched soon to inspect and remove the animal, and requested the pilot to stay on hold.
Meanwhile, the situation got further complicated as the jackal moved from left to right and stood 30 metres ahead of the aircraft.
Soon, a black car rushed to the spot, and a person came down from the car. He started searching for the jackal. However, he did not find any jackal, and instead found a polythene bag in the taxiway, which he threw away.
As the animal was not seen anywhere, the flight headed towards the runway.
