Israel kills 47 in overnight strike at Gaza's Maghazi refugee camp amid war

In an overnight attack at the Maghazi refugee camp in Gaza, Israeli forces killed at least 47 people, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-run enclave. Locals were seen searching for victims or survivors amidst the rubble. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), when asked for a comment, stated that they were in the process of gathering details. In another separate incident, strikes overnight resulted in the death of 21 Palestinians from a single family, including women and children. The IDF, however, declined to comment on this incident.

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony. The TVK managed to secure the Governor's nod to form the government after the Congress, the CPI, the CPI(M), the VCK, and IUML extended their support to the Vijay-led party for a colaition government.
